Ephesians 1:13-14 says “When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession – to the praise of his glory”.
You Are A New Creation
“I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me” – Galatians 2:20
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
Now that you are born again, you died to your old self, you died to your sinful life, and you now live in Christ. You are a new creation.
You are saved and justified through Jesus Christ. When God looks at you, the person who accepted Christ as your Saviour, He sees you completely justified — perfect — as if you had never sinned.
“But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” – 1 Corinthians 6:11
