PRAYER TO RECEIVE THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from the salvation that every believer should seek and receive.
I believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will help you get closer to God and empower you to overcome the problem of the world but also to minister to other people.
All you have to do to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is to ask, believe, and receive.
Pray this prayer loud if you are already a believer of Jesus
“Father, I thank You for your grace of salvation. I want more of you, God. In the name of Jesus, I ask you to baptise me now in the Holy Spirit. Come Holy Spirit, I need You! As I asked, I believe I receive the Holy Spirit. Thank You, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Amen”.
From my experience, after I was baptised with the Holy Spirit my relationship with God got stronger. As you accept the Holy Spirit, God’s supernatural power flows through you. It’s the same power who heals the sick and raise people from the dead.
What Does The Bible Say?
God’s Word promises the Holy Spirit to those who ask
John the Baptist said in Matthew 3:11 “I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptise with the Holy Spirit and fire”.
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to His disciples and He will send the Holy Spirit to you too if you ask Him.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” – Acts 1:8.
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” – Acts 2:1-4
All you need to do to receive the Holy Spirit is to ask and “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” – Luke 11:10
