Heavenly Father,
I come before you today, praying for healing upon my heart and mind. Your word says in Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” I claim that promise today, knowing that you are able to heal even the deepest emotional wounds.
Lord, I have been carrying pain, fear, and trauma for far too long, and I need your help to overcome them. Your word says in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” I come to you now, laying down my burdens at your feet and seeking your rest. Pour out your love and compassion upon me.
Help me release the bitterness, anger, and resentment I’ve been holding onto. I know your Word says in Ephesians 4:31-32, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” and I want to leave this behind.
Please give me the strength to forgive those who have hurt me, as your word says in Colossians 3:13, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your unconditional love. I trust in your promises and your provision for my emotional healing.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
