Goal Setting Is The Key To Success

“People who have goals succeed because they know where they’re going. It’s that simple.”success-quote

― Earl Nightingale, How to Completely Change Your Life in 30 Seconds

When you set up your goals think what impact your goals are going to make in your life. If you want money,  10% increase in your income won’t bring massive changes. Think big. Aim for millions and believe that opportunities will be created to help you reach your goals.

Find goals that will change your life and breakdown your goals in small milestones. If £1.000.000 is what you want, aim to celebrate the first £100.000 you get, then the first quarter of a million and so on.

Not all of us want money. Some of you may want a good health or a happy marriage. Whatever you want to achieve in your life the first step is to write your goals down.  Review them constantly, visualise how your life will be once you received what you are asking for, belief you will achieve and each day do something that will help you move toward your goals.

If you find it difficult to decide what your goals are, there are 4 questions you need to ask yourself:

  1. Why are you doing it? Why have you chosen this goal?
  2. Does it feel right? Does it have a good feeling?
  3. Is it a path with heart? Does it resonate with you?
  4. Who besides yourself will benefit from this goal being achieved?

Once you know what you want, new ideas are going to come into your mind and new opportunities will arise to help you achieve your goal. Just be open minded and take action.

If you find it hard to think what goals you want, imagine yourself being at 90 years old. What would you like to have happened in your life? How do you see yourself? What experiences do you like to have had?

Remember!

“Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time.”

― Bob Proctor
